Copywriting & Social Media Management
Below you’ll find a collection of my work. A mixture between published and personal journal pieces.
TRAILS WA
I have loved working with Trails WA. Hiking and trail running is very dear to my heart, so it felt very fitting being given the job of creating blog posts highlighting popular trails and hiking trends. The briefs where always very broad where I was either given a headline or asked to pick a theme around a group of trails they had selected. In some cases (that of Off The Beaten Track), I was asked to write a sponsored post for a tour company, where I needed to draw on the persona of Trails WA as to why we would be recommending a an external outlet.

AUSSIE OS
Aussie OS is a premium relocation service throughout Australia. The was brief was to create user friendly handbooks for each of the major cities within Australia. These would become the clients location bible as they began the process of calling Australia home. The guides needed to me informative but visually appealing. I was given a blank canvas and ask to provide my own take on the specifics needed for each city as a new resident. My response was to choose a specific type of photography that showcased a more local view into the highlights of the cities. Whilst touching on well know areas, I also choose to provide more ‘off the beaten track’ recommendations – giving a slightly more personalised touch to the guides.

WEST TECH FEST
WTF was a new industry for me to work in. Although used to events, Tech was a new subject matter that I absolutely gobbled up. I was especially grateful to be tasked with a ‘Women in Tech’ piece – champion women in the workplace. The briefs for WTF were broad, with a subject matter presented and aim overall to round it back off towards sales tickets for the event. I learnt a lot from this project and would love to continue to explore more work within the Tech and Start-up industry.

Social Media Management
With my freelance work at Wylde Marketing I worked across various industry socials, managing their platforms and creating social-first content. From copy writing to video editing, all content formed part of a wider marketing strategy that aim to increased engagement, sell tickets and boost brand awareness.
Shore Leave Festival had a record number of attendees for the year and successfully launched a new event within their series. They saw an increase of followers by 40% and their engagement hit new highs at 491%.
Trails WA saw significantly higher engagement over their campaign periods, using a new stories approach whilst also seeing a 80% increase in engagement around their new trail openings.
West Tech Fest sold out of all tickets and tripled it’s engagement from last year.
Outdoors WA was the biggest success seeing a 70% increase in followers across their key accounts and was shared across multiple government and high profile organisation platforms.
Alongside content creation, daily tasks such as; community management, website maintenance and research and reporting were performed.

Art Creative
Throughout my life I’ve been a a journal writer and fascinated with typography. I’ve built up a reflective tone of voice and delved into the world of fonts. I soon realised that what was in my head needed to be down on paper, whether it through my hand-lettering or through creative writing. Here is a snapshot of some of my work:
